Celebrate the festive season as conductor Jack Gonzalez-Harding returns to Mayfield on Saturday 19th December 2026, to lead Handel’s timeless masterpiece, Messiah. With an instinctive love of Handel, Gonzalez-Harding will lead a definitive, historically informed performance using period instruments. The gut strings, baroque trumpets, and historical tuning will take us back centuries, revealing the crisp rhythmic drive, intimate transparency and vibrant colours that Handel originally intended.

The performance of this seasonal tradition brings together a stunning line-up of four wonderful soloists, alongside the Mayfield Consort and The Baroque Collective, to track the profound narrative of prophecy, passion and redemption.
