Tom Hammick – Romantic Imaginations ?
Inspired by the 18thC Year of Marvels of Coleridge and Wordsworth, compellingly chronicled by Adam Nicolson in The Making of Poetry, internationally recognised artist Tom Hammick lends a phenomenal collection of woodcut prints to Mayfield Festival 2022 for exhibition in the church of St Dunstan. Perhaps inhabiting the poets’ Romantic Imagination in images inspired by their Somerset collaboration and friendship, we shall find our own 21stC imagination is set alight.
The exhibition will comprise at least 17 artworks and they will be on display in St. Dunstan’s Church throughout the Festival fortnight and can be viewed whenever the Church is open to visitors.
No ticket is required to view Tom’s exhibition but you can use the ‘Book Now’ button to order a Festival Programme and/or a Festival Cushion that can then be collected at any of the other Festival events.
