Remember when Richard Hills last accompanied a silent film at Mayfield? How on earth did he make the organ sound like a barking dog? And how did he weave a whole improvised score so that it had the internal structure of a Wagner music-drama? Harold Lloyd’s 1928 comic cinematic masterpiece is good, but Hills makes it even better.
