The Australian pianist, Joseph Havlat, returns to Mayfield
to present an atmospheric programme of music by Robert Schumann. The emotionally-creative sound-world of Schumann is augmented by the music of Michael Finnissy, who celebrates his 80th birthday in 2026, and Finnissy’s former pupil, the Canadian composer Cassandra Miller.

his versatility as a composer and chamber musician, and his ability to perform a wide range of repertoire with both technical brilliance and deep sensitivity.
