We are delighted to continue the tradition, initiated by Levon Chilingirian, of inviting some of the judges at the Tunbridge Wells International Music Competition to perform a chamber recital in front of an audience where, as Levon has it, “they have to put their money where their mouth is.” This year, pianist Philippe Dinkel and horn player Michael Thompson have volunteered to take their turn in classical music’s equivalent of a jungle trial by giving a recital in an intimate setting.
