Join the Mayfield Consort, directed by David Force and with organist Ian Wilson, for an evening of some of the finest works written for the British cathedral choral tradition from the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The programme features music by SS Wesley, Charles Wood, Gerald Finzi, Charles Stanford, William Walton and William Mathias among others, including reflective unaccompanied works, rousing blockbusters, and music for double choir and soloists. Ian Wilson will also play organ music by Walton and Howells.
